Workshops

Musicality workshops in Bavel are an opportunity to grow as a dancer.

During 4 weekly Monday 75-minute-sessions, we explore the basic concepts of musicality in small groups of up to 8 people.

You will learn how to count while dancing, understand the timing of each sound, and feel the difference between dancing a tiempo and contratiempo.

You will learn to recognise the basic salsa instruments, dance to their rhythms, and switch between different basic timings: On1, Son, Mambo, Soft Mambo and Clave.

You will also learn the structure of a salsa song and how to break it down by recognising its patterns.
